How to Redo Your Bathroom (without Renovating)

by Good Health Talks

Makeover home shows have always been my favorites. I am always fascinated by how rooms/houses can change so much after the makeover itself. Sometimes just a repainting of the walls and adding some new fresh-colored details can make a room/house look like it’s gotten out from a magazine!

Not everyone can afford to renovate their room or the whole house. However, if you want to give a little refreshing touch to some part of your house you can do it anytime. You don’t have to spend a lot of money.

Today we will give you some ideas on how to redo your bathroom! Do you want a calming spa feeling every time you enter your bathroom? Let’s get some work done!

Here are some amazing tips to freshen up your bath area:

DISTRACT WITH ACCESSORIES

First of all look at the walls and floors. Do you like the outdated color? White paint can transform a dated look and does wonders to make a space feel crisp and clean!

If you haven’t got any windows in your bathroom, add an oversized mirror on some of the walls.

Greenery is always a must to give space life and calmness. Oversize greenery and artwork have the power to draw attention from anything else.

Large woven baskets can give the space added warmth.

LIGHT IS EVERYTHING

Changing the old lighting fixtures isn’t something ambitious to do. Adding new lights can make wonders for making the space feel new. Whether you’ve got big windows or no windows at all, opt for sconces and table or floor lamps. Avoid harsh overhead lighting. If you want to bring light and calmness to another level, choose candlelight.

ORGANIZE

The organization is key. Declutter the space, and empty all the cabinets and drawers. Measure them and buy corresponding bins and caddies. Believe me, it may seem like big work to do all this. But once you’ve done it you can follow this organizational system and it will be easier to put everything in its place. Your bathroom will always be (hopefully J) neat and tidy!

DISPLAY YOUR FAVORITES

Still, sometimes you can display your most used or favorite products. For this purpose, you can use a chic stainless-steel or wooden tray!

We also recommend you add some greenery into the shower space! Fresh eucalyptus smells wonderful, it makes the bathroom feel like a real spa.

Ready for that long-awaited soak? Pour a glass of wine, take a book, and put a candle on an oak tub caddy!

DECANT

How to make a bathroom feel lux and intentionally designed? Just add a couple of glass jars all over the space! They can be regular or colored glass. I prefer light blue! It gives a beachy feeling! You can store bath salts, cotton balls, and even mouthwash.

INVEST IN STACKS OF WHITE TOWELS

There’s nothing cleaner and fresher than a set of cozy white towels! They make a bathroom feel like a luxurious 5-star hotel. They look even more fabulous neatly folded on a chic wooden stool!
