1. Drink before you eat something!
It is usually recommended to drink a glass of water for at least 15 minutes before eating. In this way, not only will you stay hydrated, but you will feel fuller immediately. Felling full will prevent overeating.
2. Reduce your stress!
I know this is not an easy thing to do, living in this crazy world. However, did you know that stressing constantly is a major factor in gaining weight? Try out some methods and techniques to reduce everyday stress. My favorite ones are meditation and yoga!
3. Change your diet choices! One of the most effective weight-loss hacks:
It’s all about choices: Choose fresh fruit over dried fruit, choose healthy snacks over chips, choose water over soda, and so on… Start with baby steps and continue making small changes on a daily basis.
4. Watch your portion size!
Choosing the right size for every meal is very important too. We all know that nuts are healthy snacks. Do you think that you can eat as many as you want? You are wrong! Eating too much of everything is not a good option if you have decided to lose weight. Instead, try to organize your snacks and measure them throughout the day.
Another tip is to use smaller plates to visually signal that the size of your meal will be enough and it will satisfy your hunger.
5. Don’t wear loose clothes
Sweatpants, loose shirts, and comfy sweaters are very convenient to wear, but they all hide the shape of your body. Start wearing form-fitting clothes in which you will feel more attractive and you will be more motivated in your journey of losing weight.

Being more physically active is crucial. Again, it’s all about choices and small changes you can make on a daily basis. Choose the stairs instead the elevator, park your car a little further from your workplace, etc. These are all simple, yet effective ways to burn more calories. You don’t have to hit the gym to be more physically active.

Try to reduce the number of sugary drinks such as wine, cocktails, energy drinks, and fruit juices.

Add some cucumber, ginger, or lemon to your water if you don’t like its taste, it’s a far better choice for your weight-loss journey.
8. Don’t snack all the time
Another very common reason is snacking. Sometimes we do it out of stress, and sometimes out of boredom. Either way is not good for us.
The best solution is to eat regular meals and snacks in the right-sized portions. Set times for each meal and snack throughout the day and stick to them.

I prefer not to eat after 19h. This choice has helped me a lot in maintaining my desired weight. So, my advice for you would be not to eat your dinner too late, at least 3 hours before going to bed. Eating late is also not so good for your digestion and can also cause sleep disorders.
Also, try to keep your dinner to nearly 25 % of your daily calories.
11. Get more sleep! One of the easiest weight-loss hacks!
Did you know that people who sleep less tend to be overweight? I have always thought it was vice-versa
Studies show that you automatically feel more hungry when you don’t get enough sleep. The perfect number would be 7-8 hours of sleep.
